The Centre de Ressources et des Compétences pour le Développement Communautaire
(CERCODE. C) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization incorporated under Congolese law
. The organization works in particular to bring vulnerable groups of
the population to fight effectively against epidemics (HIV, Tuberculosis, Malaria...)
and other major health problems on a community scale. in distress, to
victims of natural or man-made disasters, or situations of belligerence.

A. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Position: Accountant
Place of work: Brazzaville
Type of contract: Twelve (12) month fixed-term renewable contract
Hours: 45 h. per week, flexible according to the needs of the service
B. POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION
Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Manager
C. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Contribute to the sound management of the organization and the means and resources it
mobilizes to carry out its missions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the association's accounting
● Carry out accounting entry (general accounting and
analytical accounting, journal keeping, accounting controls/analysis of accounts,
lettrage, bank reconciliations, year-end regularizations,
application of accounting standards) of the organization according to the standards of
the Uniform Act relating to accounting law and financial information
(AUDCIF) and the revised SYSCOHADA;
● Management, processing and physical and electronic filing of invoices and
other accounting documents;
● Preparation of payments;
● Implementation of adaptations to ensure that the
analytical architecture and accounting procedures meet CERCODE's needs.C and to
contractual obligations with third parties ;● Preparation of income statements and other closing accounting tables
. Concordance checks and analytical balances by
program;
● Manage the petty cash fund;
● Assist the RAF in carrying out his tasks.

D. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Education: 2-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Auditing or Control
    Management.
  • Languages: French (written and spoken), essential.
  • Experience: At least two years' professional experience in a similar position.
    Experience in an associative/community environment is an asset.
  • Computer skills (office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet) and
    mastery of at least one accounting software package essential.
  • Qualities: ability to listen, results-oriented, sense of quality; teamwork
    and cooperation; adaptability; good interpersonal skills; adherence to CERCODE's Values
