CERCODE C(Centre de Ressources et des Compétences pour le Développement Communautaire) is anon-profitsocial and health organization , incorporated under Congolese law and based in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.

 

Since its creation, CERCODE. C has been actively contributing, at community level, to reducing social inequalities and improving health indicators, particularly in terms of STIs, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, as well as education levels, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups(adolescents and young people, female sex workers, female heads of household, etc.) in both urban and rural areas.

 

CERCODE .C carries out these actions through a technical team supported by a network of volunteers and community agents.

Governance & Organization

CERCODE.C is organized around a network of volunteers spread over seven (7) departments in the Republic of Congo, supported by a permanent salaried team.

Annual General Meeting

As the supreme decision-making body, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) brings together CERCODE.C's members every year, and is the forum par excellence for the expression of associative life. Major policy orientations, strategic positioning and missions are debated. It also validates the annual moral and financial report, and elects the members of the Board of Directors.

Board of Directors

The organization is administered by a Board of Directors (BOD). It defines and submits to the AGM the association's major orientations. It guarantees the transparency of the association's operations with regard to all stakeholders, notably users, communities, development partners and public authorities. It implements the general orientations of CERCODE.C defined by the General Meeting, exercises its authority over all the association's activities, and delegates to the Executive Director of Programs (DEP) the implementation of decisions and the day-to-day management of the association.

Programs Executive Department (operational side)

This is the permanent operational structure, headed by the Executive Director of Programs and comprising the following units: Administration and Finance, Project Coordination, Training and Research, Monitoring-Evaluation and Learning.
